Chapter 2727: Chapter 2727: Do I Look Like a Fool?

“I’ve believed in many things all my life, even your nonsense. But I have never believed in gods and spirits.” Julius Reed looked at Pranay Martinez, pointing at himself, then at the sky: “Gods are man-made. If there really were gods, unless they could beat me, they’d be nothing but nonsense.”

After saying this, he pointed at his feet: “So-called ghosts and monsters are just remnant souls. When they were alive with physical bodies, they weren’t my match, and now that they’re dead, they’re just lingering souls, like lost dogs. Should I care?”

“You’re telling me this is the underworld? Then explain to me, what is the underworld!”

Julius Reed pointed at the ground, speaking coldly: “If you can’t explain clearly, I’ll make sure you can’t even reach the underworld.”

“You, Julius Reed, are a madman, but I must tell you, there’s always someone stronger, always a higher power! The underworld is simply the underworld, where some people’s telekinesis doesn’t dissipate after they die.”

Pranay Martinez looked disdainful, but he still forced himself to answer Julius Reed’s questions.

Under the eaves, one must bow their head.

He considered himself a hero, capable of endurance and strength.

With Pranay Martinez’s understanding of Julius Reed, he had no doubt that Julius would kill him immediately.

But as long as he cooperated, there was still room to maneuver.

“If it’s really as you say, some people were killed, but their remnant souls remain powerful, then telekinesis could kill you!”

Pranay Martinez snorted lightly: “Some telekinesis has existed for tens of thousands of years! Even longer. Are you, Julius Reed, stronger than them?”

“But you haven’t realized a very crucial point,” Julius Reed raised his hand, further compressing the lightning.

“They’re all dead, killed. And I’m not dead yet. Just based on that, they don’t deserve to be my opponents.”

Julius Reed looked at Pranay Martinez arrogantly: “Just like you, always thinking you’re my match, but in my eyes, you’re not even a nobody.”

“Strength is relative. In your view, they’re strong and capable. But to me, Julius Reed, they’re nothing, just like you, all worthless.”

After these words, Pranay Martinez was thoroughly enraged!

Being humiliated again and again like this, as the former emperor on par with Julius Reed, the City Lord of Skilid City, he wished he could tear Julius Reed to pieces!

But the electric net surrounding him made him dare not act rashly.

The piercing pain was unbearable.

“Then what if someone isn’t dead but is forcibly drawn out and taken away!”

Pranay Martinez roared: “Do you think you know everything, Julius Reed, you’re too arrogant! Far too arrogant!”

“What did you say?” Julius Reed leaned in to ask: “Are you talking about those who’ve entered a second time, only to have their souls extracted?”

“Maybe the fourth time, the sixth time! But among them, there are top experts! Complete souls, here!”

Pranay Martinez coldly laughed, eyes gleaming with triumph: “Are you scared now? Too late, once you enter here, you’re destined to never leave.”

“What I’m afraid of is that they are too weak and simply not enough to fight!”

Julius Reed sneered coldly, looking into Pranay Martinez’s eyes: “And what are you doing here!”

This was his most puzzling question.

Even as Pranay Martinez said, at Boulevard Mountain, he accidentally drank some water and ended up here.

But why would drinking water bring him here?

Why is the well at Boulevard Mountain?

Others are stuck in prison, so why can Pranay Martinez sit here?

It seems there might be some authority.

“No comment!” Pranay Martinez’s face changed upon hearing the question, and he fell silent.

“I never expected that the dignified City Lord of Skilid City, once deemed an equal to me by fools, would be rendered speechless by my questions.”

Seeing Pranay Martinez’s emotional change, Julius Reed knew something was fishy.

“You don’t have to speak, but I’m also here. No one brought me in; I came in on my own.”

At these words, Pranay Martinez grew even more agitated: “Julius Reed, this is not the outside world. You’ll be punished here! Haha, I can’t wait to see you tamed like a dog!”

He was mad, furious!

“Powerless rage.” Julius Reed knew he couldn’t get any more answers.

So he thought of killing Pranay Martinez directly.

But just as he raised his hand, the lightning suddenly disappeared.

Pranay Martinez vanished into thin air, as if he had never been there.

The surroundings quickly returned to their original state.

Still with a narrow corridor between two rows of cells.

And in front of him stood Pranay Martinez.

In front of Pranay Martinez was a man in black.

But this man in black was different from before.

His shoulder had a tiger embroidered on the fabric.

“Do you have help?” Julius Reed crossed his arms, looking at the line of individuals in front of him.

“Who is this, daring to be so presumptuous in the underworld?”

The black-clad man with the tiger on his shoulder spoke, his voice low and unsettling.

“His name is Julius Reed, the one who has entered our realm multiple times and always escaped unscathed!” Pranay Martinez hurried to explain.

“Really?” The black-clad man’s voice was like metal scraping, sharp and unpleasant.

“Yes.” Julius Reed nodded, responding with a question: “Who are you?”

“Who I am doesn’t matter. What I want to know is, how did you get in?”

There was no emotion in the black-clad man’s tone.

Each question was devoid of feelings.

Like a machine.

“Captured by the Southern Sea Goddess,” Julius Reed replied.

“Southern Sea Goddess?” The black-clad man raised a hand, and someone behind him quickly pulled out a notebook, flipping through it rapidly.

“Found it,” the person behind him nodded: “It’s indeed today.”

“Then as per regulations, take the Southern Sea Goddess out for some air,” the black-clad man waved his hand, and someone vanished from sight.

In this place, everything was telekinesis, without physical bodies.

Like the speed of light in air.

Extremely fast!

Even faster than the speed of light.

“But since you were captured, why aren’t you locked in a cell?” the black-clad man asked again.

“He’s lying! No one could have captured him, he fooled you…”

Pranay Martinez explained resentfully.

Even if he didn’t want to admit it, Julius Reed truly was that strong.

Clearly a lie!

“When I ask questions, did I ask you?” The black-clad man turned his head.

“No,” Pranay Martinez bit his lip, bowed his head, and spoke softly.

“Then shut your mouth!”

The black-clad man spoke bluntly.

“Yes.”

Pranay Martinez’s voice trembled.

“The cell door was too shabby; I pushed it and it fell.” Julius Reed said with a grin.

“Do I look like a fool?” The black-clad man pointed at his own face.

“Yes.” Julius Reed answered quickly.

Just as he finished, the wind suddenly picked up around him.
