Chapter 2734: Chapter 2734: The Collapsing World

“Don’t let go of me!”

Julius Reed communicated with Seven Gem Slope through telekinesis.

This wasn’t meant to help, it’s just adding to the chaos!

After finally escaping from that chaotic world, now we’re going back.

Julius Reed was at a loss but had to accept this reality.

Since he was here, he could only seek a solution first.

This place is rife with danger, a moment of carelessness could lead to falling into the abyss where the warden dwells.

The warden claims to control this place, but it seems the dark forces below don’t comply.

From the warden’s desperate and resentful tone before he was pulled in, there must be something below that even the warden fears.

“How would I know opening the door would suck us inside!” Seven Gem Slope was a bit flustered but unwilling to admit fault.

Arguing with a woman is harder than playing music to a cow.

“Stay calm,” Julius Reed suddenly pulled downward, using the power in his telekinesis, finally slowing down the pace.

After sliding for some time, the surroundings seemed calm.

“The calm before the storm,” Julius Reed and Seven Gem Slope stood in this dark, unfamiliar world, unable to help but express their feelings.

“Since you can open a door, can you open another one for us to leave?” Julius Reed asked.

Seven Gem Slope’s knowledge was still far superior to his own.

In Julius Reed’s understanding, the painting was like a door.

But he didn’t know how to open the door.

Then Seven Gem Slope came along and opened it directly.

Sometimes, indeed, a woman’s lack of skills is a virtue.

The more one knows and can do, the easier it is to cause trouble.

“That door’s teleportation array isn’t written down, I just tried to open it.” Seven Gem Slope was stubborn but knew she had messed up, pouting, “What place is this exactly?”

After all, a queen once; admitting fault?

Impossible.

Not venting on Julius Reed is already restrained enough.

If it were before, a subordinate would take the fall and be punished.

In short, others are always at fault.

A king could never be wrong.

Not even a minor mistake.

Julius Reed isn’t one to bicker; right now the key is finding a solution.

“What do we do?” Seven Gem Slope helplessly looked at Julius Reed.

This was already offering a way out.

“The last time I left, it was because I found an entrance, turned it into an exit, and left.” Julius Reed thought for a moment, shaking his head, “When I left, the entrance had collapsed, logically, this world shouldn’t exist anymore. But why…”

“Who!” Seven Gem Slope pointed back!

A pure blue light formed by telekinesis flew out from her fingertip.

Bam!

A dull sound.

A burst of white light.

This was the sound of telekinesis being shattered.

Telekinesis is energy, extremely pure spiritual energy.

It’s called telekinesis because the energy is wrapped in something.

Everyone’s telekinesis is wrapped up.

Shattering the wrapper is like bursting a balloon.

It will explode.

And the person’s telekinesis will disappear along with it.

“There’s actually someone here?”

Julius Reed pulled Seven Gem Slope behind him, staring ahead.

He had been thinking and wasn’t focused.

Add to that the previous collapse which caused a lot of telekinesis to be sucked in, Julius Reed naturally believed no telekinesis remained here.

Now after Seven Gem Slope’s alert discovery, Julius Reed realized there was still plenty of telekinesis around.

It seemed that the suction pulled away the cells, leading to the unbound telekinesis appearing freely.

Julius Reed transformed his hand into a blade, ready to strike ahead!

“Wait!”

Just then, a familiar voice rang out.

Julius Reed halted mid-action, pulling back.

A lantern lit up, an old man carrying it walked over.

“Do you still recognize me?” the elder asked with a smile.

“You’re the swordsman.” Julius Reed didn’t lower his guard; though he paused, his strength was still present.

“Indeed. I didn’t expect we’d meet here again.”

After speaking, he turned around, waving to others: “Everyone, disperse. He’s not one of those people, nor related to them.”

After the elder spoke, the assembled telekinesis disappeared.

“You didn’t die?” Julius Reed was surprised, “They didn’t die either?”

“By luck. Aren’t you also alive? And this young lady, seems not to be from the prison.” The elder curiously looked at Seven Gem Slope.

But his gaze immediately shifted.

He sensed danger!

Extreme danger.

As if another glance would cause him to be crushed!

Like being pulverized.

This fear, not even the warden has felt before.

The elder bowed his head, asking respectfully: “May I ask, you are…”

“You know what to ask and what not to,” Seven Gem Slope replied coldly.

“Yes, I apologize.” The elder quickly retreated a few steps, gesturing to Julius Reed: “May we speak privately.”

Saying the wrong thing, making the wrong move, can truly be fatal.

This overwhelming pressure made him extremely uneasy.

“What’s the matter?” Julius Reed smiled, pointing to Seven Gem Slope: “One of us, no need to be nervous. You haven’t answered me, how did you survive? There was a collapse earlier, many were sucked in.”

“It was indeed a catastrophe.” Mentioning this, even the calm-looking elder was slightly fearful.

“I’m not sure which mentally unstable mighty force came here and shattered the surface… Oh, we call it the surface because we were human when alive.”

The elder pointed below: “This was originally formed by dense spiritual power, basically unbreakable. And for our world to exist, it’s due to the suction below firmly attaching this world.”

“That’s also why we can’t leave. But just earlier, some madman shattered the surface! The suction below immediately devoured the spiritual power forming the surface. Most of us got sucked in, only a few, like me, survived.”

“But disorder ensued. Survival is only due to the collapse being so vast, causing rules here to take effect, allowing this world to rapidly shrink and seal the breach.”

The elder helplessly said: “Though we gained freedom, how long will it last?”

“What do you mean, can’t you leave now?” Julius Reed asked, puzzled.

“This world is sealed, none of us can leave. Next, we can only wait for the forces below to realize the issue and send new personnel to handle it.”

His tone was filled with dejection: “There’s only a few of us left now, if taken, we might become slaves.”

“Sigh.”

Suddenly, thousands of sighs echoed simultaneously.
